The Westin La Cantera Hill Country Holidays began Nov. 18 and runs through December. The fun begins with outdoor iceless skating and seasonal arts and crafts. The bulbs, which Samsung hopes Americans will be using in their homes instead of incandescent, halogen and CFL bulbs, are inspired by the South Korean firm's work in LED televisions, according to Kevin Dexter, senior VP of home appliances.
"A light bulb is no longer just a light bulb. It's a digital technology made up of LED chips, drivers and electronics - familiar turf for Samsung," he said in a canned statement.
